So... I was thinking about writing about the rest of my suitehearts... but... I think I might jump to other people first....

Jason --

A dude... Perhaps the craziest, the zaniest, the nicest, the sweetest, and the most gentle person that I have ever met. He's the guy that can make you keel over in laughter. He's the guy that'll be there to give you a knock on the head if you are being an idiot. Sure, he exasperates me with all his understanding-ness, but I can't hate a person for being... well... so damned nice. Yet, he can be as hard-headed as they come, and brutal with his honesty. He usually has good judgement about things. And sometimes he can sound like he's wise as Gandalf, but as stupid as, well, me. He's humor is off the scales, and though he pushes the boundaries at times, he's one of the funniest guy that I've ever met. His understanding and compassion humbles me at times. He has tolerated me and my stupidity countless times, so you must realize the scale of his nice-ness.

If you know me, I never let things go until I talk about it. I let things slide until the my buttons are pushed too many times. Then, the grudges come and never leave. To put it dramatically, I feel betrayed, and become unable to see past the mistake the other person might have made in my eyes. Does that make sense? Probably not -- well the point is that Jason seems to be able to do what I miserably fail to do in certain situations -- he can be understanding. He has taught me that I shouldn't be so hard on other people. His compassion blows me away sometimes because there are so many times when I doubt the existence of any compassion in my bones.

He's smart, too. He has his dreams, which he seems to be working for, which is also quite admirable. He writes like a maniac, and it's GOOD stuff, not like the stuff I write in blogs. He has his beliefs and seems to stand behind them with conviction. We have our good days and we have our bad days. (The bad days usually come when I have a massive mood swing.) We argue and we yell at each other, but in the end, we can laugh it through, largely on his part.

He's the guy who can make your day with his humor, or break down barriers with his gentleness. An excellent buddy... Exasperator... Compassionate... Smart... Creative... overall a Nice Dude... the brother/ Father of Dave, the brother/ husband of Ewl... Ya... I'm sure that made a lot of sense to you non - Ithacans... :D

Though there's so much more I could write about him, quite frankly, I am much too sleepy at the moment. Perhaps I will add to this blog at a later time....

So... I've been thinking a lot, I know, a dangerous activity for me... and I've come to appreciate more of the people that are around me... I'm gonna be reflecting on what I admire about them... A lot of it will probably make very little to zero sense, but just keep in mind that these are people that I have learned a lot from. I suppose it is the end of the year... and I am getting extremely sentimental... But as I've said before, I really can not believe that my first year in college is almost over... I am excited for next year... but I almost don't want this year to end... I hope that the friendships I was able to establish with people can build into a stronger foundation for the future...

Momo --

My roomie... She is the kindest, the sweetest, and the most sarcastic girl I have ever met. I feel lucky that we have gotten along as well as we have, because we were able to deal with whatever that came our way. Sure we disagree on stuff... but who doesn't? I feel that even those disagreements have made us be better roomies and buddies. After actually living with me for a year, she has actually agreed to allow me to room with her next year. Think about it, people. Would YOU want to room with me again knowing how crazy I am? I certainly wouldn't. She has seen me at my worst, ugliest, grossest, and weirdest. I'd run away from me. She has made me laugh, and has put up with me and awful habits. She has listened to me complain for what is probably now comes to a total days. She has impressed and humbled me with her patience, courage, and strength...

If you've been around, hopefully you know the story that I am referring to because I do not really want to get into it... too much...

Racism and biggotry is not acceptable to me in anyway. Words like "Kike," "Spic," and "Cracker," have never been in my mind before. I did not know what they meant. Coming from BHHS and a large melting-pot of a city, I have never heard words "Kike" come out of a person's mouth. I didn't really have an idea of what that word meant. When she had come back into our room that night, I knew then that the word was something incredibly vile and vicious. I can only imagine what it felt like for her, because even though I have been faced with racism before, everyone's experiences are different. She came back and didn't say a word at first, but when she told me about it, and how she handled the situation by walking away, I was impressed. If I had been in her position, even in the room, I would have flipped out. I couldn't fathom how she had the courage and strength to walk away. People like Momo humble me because they are able to be the bigger person and walk away. I don't think I could do that. I've learned a lot from Momo. I just hope that I can learn more from her next year.

An excellent roomie and friend... motivator and Ms. Patience... Sarcasmist... Fooding... Late night talks... the Sane one... the Neat one... the Nice one... the Short one... the Lovely one... the Momo...

Tonight was a good night. With Dave, Ewl, Jason, and Bill, I took a walk to the observatory then wandered around the woods, exploring. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to clear out my head -- letting thoughts go, letting stuff flow in my mind with the wind... I can't believe this year has gone by so quickly. It makes me sad to think about the end of the year. I can't imagine not living in Lyon Hall, on my floor, with the girls, the basement boys, the boys across the hall, and RA John. I can't imagine not being near Eastman or Bogart.
So many things happened this year... revelations... about eveything, including things about my self... I truly feel that I have never been so happy in my entire life. As the year is coming to an end, I am making an attempt to enjoy everyday... almost every moment... and I do... I don't have adequate words to express how lucky I feel, how happy I feel, and how peaceful I feel when I'm in Ithaca. Sure there are hectic times, but in the end, everything is worth it.
Becca, Ewl, Momo, and Trish are my favorite girls -- I can't wait to live with them next year... Jason, Mike, Dave, Josh, and Bill -- are a crazy bunch of guys that make me smile... usually... sometimes... hehe... no... I *heart* them very much... RA John is like the bro that I've never had... and I enjoy making fun of him constantly... :D ... I'd like to thank them for being kind and patient with a crazy crackhead like me.... Thanks for making fun of me, making me laugh, making me sad, making me happy, making me go crazy, making me relax, making me mad... Thanks for listening to me... squeal, laugh, scream, yell, cry, whine, and whatever else.... Thanks for putting up with all my shit.... :D ... Yay for good nights... :D
