I watched Bowling for Columbine yesterday. It's an excellent documentary that I'd suggest it to virtually everyone. He's definitely got balls -- he confronts big conglomerate like K-Mart and big Charlton Heston, and is able to convey the message he wants. He is able to get bullets off of all the shelves in Kmart stores, and a reaction from Charlton Heston that makes Heston look like an ass. I would recommend everyone to see it because it just shows a different perspective. It doesn't give excuses for people and their actions, but just creates enough friction to make people think. Definitely thought provoking.

I'm going to vent a little...

I would like someone to explain to me how people don't want to know or talk about the war. They don't want to discuss it, they don't want bother to read about it, see about it, or hear about it. People who want to live in their little bubble makes me think that they are one of the biggest idiots on the planet. I've heard people say "What's the point of protesting, or talking about it? There's no point." People seem to enjoy talking about movies and TV shows... what's the point of that? It makes them sound, at least to me, as if they don't care about the lives being lost. Why wouldn't you want to know about what is going on? Just because you don't have family members or friends in the war doesn't mean you should stop caring about it. Why wouldn't you want to know what your government is doing on your behalf? Discussing, reading, seeing, and hearing about the war helps people express their opinions and beliefs, and there is an exchange of ideas that makes them think in a new capacity. Talking about things, including the war, movies and TV shows, makes people think and express themselves. What's so bad about that?
