So... I've been working 9 hour shifts at the market nonstop for the past 8 days... maybe more... I don't mind the extra money, but, man, do I remember why I hated working 7 days a week... hehe... at one point in the week, usually around Friday, I snap... virtually everything annoys me, especially the customers... but, hey, I really am happy that I got to work this break... Anywho... 01/01/03 has come and gone, and at midnight on 01/01/03, I was with some of my friends celebrating new years and one of the peeps' birthday... after having dinner at 12am, we proceeded to the bowling alley, but it closed because well, it was after 1am... hehe... so we went across the street to the pool hall... all 11 of us... it was a blast!! I actually hit the balls... in the right direction!!! (Yay, me... those of you who have played pool with me realize that, it is an amazing feat for me to hit the ball, in the correct direction, even...) we paired up into teams, and my partner and me won! I can't take that much credit for the win... my partner kicks ass in pool-ing... so, that was that night... Tonight, we had another gathering because one of them is going down back to UCSD on Sunday... we ate, then went to the bowling alley... and let me share with you the fact that I truly, truly, suck a bowling~ haha... This is the second time I've bowled... but... I can tell... there's no future in it for me... Friendships can be easily formed and also be equally, if not more easily, broken... I value every single connection that I am lucky to have with my friends... whether they be the ones in California or New York or where-ever else, they are a big, enjoyable, part of my life -- though I admit, I do enjoy solitude, once in a while... Oh, ya, just in case you're wondering what I did for Christmas... I went to see Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers with my mom! It was great!! I recommend that everyone watch the movies and read the books... speaking of books... everyone should read the Harry Potter series...

So... Lately, I've been contemplating about a lot of things... I'll probably blog it some time... but not today... it's 4:35am in California... and I have to get up early for work at 10am!! Well... folks... I'll write more next time...
